Campground Review - July 2009

  The Male Review

We stopped here with the intention of staying for a month. The park management was rude and would not work with us at all. They have about 40 sites down front that have good satellite access and afternoon shade. They would not let us rent one of those sites, instead they said we could ONLY stay on what they consider their "monthly sites". None of these sites were acceptable to us. In fact, the area in the back looks like a band of gypsies live there. I hardly think that they would rent 40 sites every day for overnighters, we only saw two the one night we stayed. I don't think it's too much to ask to get an acceptable site when there are obviously many available. Apparently this park doesn't need our money, so we will vote with our wallet and move on down the road. We found a park 7 miles away at Ponderosa Campground that went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

No contact information is given as I won't recommend this place to anyone.
