This
place is a gem in the wilderness. All pull through sites with
asphalt pads and patios. Iron patio furniture on each site. Medium
width sites offer plenty of room. Modern hookups with several
sewer connections. All sites have clear satellite access. A
community firepit and meeting area is also available for groups.
The park is right next to the 3rd green and fairway if you're a
golf nut (like me). The course is beautiful and reasonably priced
at $33 weekdays. A little tricky maneuvering but doable for big
rigs.

Wow, a great
place to stay in Michigan. This park was intentionally built for
"no kids". No pool, no playground etc. For some of you
that would be a "no go". But for us old folks, it fits
perfect. The lodge has very good food and reasonably priced. They
also have the Elk Tour (if you like that kind of stuff). The
nearest Wal Mart is in Alpena, a 23 mile drive so come prepared.
Overall a great place to stay. |

I liked it here even
though I wasn't allowed on the golf course. |
